Surviving the Aftermath...
Our real birth does not occur when we are born into a physical body on Earth. It occurs when we have our first Aware meeting with our Soul. This is called Self-Realization. Self-Realization is an act of Transcendence. When It occurs, It is an instantaneous departure from the physical world of matter and the loss of Awareness of our physical body. We now find our Self to be only a disembodied consciousness with our Awareness compressed into a pinpoint of extraordinary concentration.

Our Awareness has become part of an infinite vastness, a vastness composed of Golden Light. This Abode-of-Golden-Light is filled with pulsating, radiant Beings-Of-White-Light. We realize at once, that this Abode-of-Light is our real Home. It is the Home of our Immortal Soul. We are filled with the certainty that all the Souls surrounding us are a part of our family.

We, a cosmic wanderer, have returned to the Homeland of our Immortal Soul. We are welcomed by this family cluster of Soul-Beings who embrace us with an outpouring of unconditional Love and Compassion. Their happiness at this reunion permeates our Beingness. We are filled with the joyous recognition that they and we have reunited like this for countless eons. Within this Boundless-Ocean-Of-Love all is conveyed in the wordless communication of Direct Knowing.

We have temporarily been called Home in order to begin a new phase of our spiritual development. Having attained to and experienced Self-Realization, we will now be able to continue on our journey of Transformation — in full Awareness of all our actions and thoughts. We are no longer unconscious and ignorant of our evolutionary journey and its purpose. We have seen the illusion that we participate in when inhabiting a physical body. We now understand why our stay in this illusory world is of such importance.

From now on, we are in an Aware partnership with our Soul — able to hear Its Voice and to feel Its Presence. We will always feel surrounded by the mantle of our Soul's protection and guidance. Never again will we feel alone and isolated. No matter what sorrows or joys will come our way, we will be able to accept them with complete surrender; knowing that our Soul's purpose is always to bring us what we need.

We are now beginning to comprehend the Truth of who we really are. We are an Immortal Being! We are not the temporary mortal human we believed our self to be! By experiencing this Aware meeting with our Mother Soul, we have now begun to comprehend the spiritual reality of our Beingness. We have become conscious of the scope, the magnificence and the glory of our evolutionary journey. We now know, that we are an autonomous Soul in the making!

Through this reunion with our Soul we have come to know the composition of our Beingness when immersed in matter and wearing a physical body. During our stay in a physical body, our Beingness is composed of three separate components: a lower self, a Higher Self and the Immortal connection with our Mother Soul.

The lower self is mortal. The core, the base of lower self consciousness, is Mind. The Mind produces and sustains the lower self consciousness only within the realm of matter. The lower self is birthed in and dies in matter. It is the lower self that contains and fosters the ego and personality. It is the ego and personality that make contact and survival with our fellow human beings possible. We, the Being of the lower self consciousness, are in total slavery to Nature. Our lower self consciousness is bound to the laws of our physical body — to all its animal traits and instincts.

It is only when a human being arrives at a certain point in their evolutionary journey that the lower self drops away forever. The death of the lower self is a slow death. Its end occurs only after a long-drawn-out struggle with the Higher Self has been waged and lost. This battle for dominance is about which consciousness will prevail — that of the lower self or that of the Higher Self. This struggle is of immense value for a Being's increase of intelligence and emotional strength. Through the influence of our Higher Self, we become more sensitized and this deepens understanding and builds the roots of wisdom.

Each time we fall out of the Higher Self and slip back into the lower consciousness our pain and sorrow will be increased. This is meant to prod us on, encourage us again and again, to return and to remain within the Higher Self. Of course, in the end the Higher Self will prevail. It is only a question of when, not if.

The Higher Self Consciousness is the intermediary between matter and the Transcendent. After the level of the lower self comes the level of the Higher Self. The Higher Self is the last evolutionary stage within the consciousness of the human kingdom. When the Higher Self reaches maturity It will then transform again, into yet a higher level of Beingness, which is the Cosmic Being. But this next level lies in a Transcendent Realm.

The Higher Self is both mortal and immortal, depending from what point of reference this is actually viewed. The Higher Self has access to the realm of the lower self and It has access to the Realm of the Soul. The Higher Self is in pursuit of acquiring more and more growth of Essence — for Essence is the core of Its Beingness. This Essence is food for the evolving Cosmic Being.

The Higher Self is able to leave the realm of matter while still connected to Its physical form; however, this is possible for short stays only. As long as the Higher Self remains connected to the old physical body, no matter to what tenuous extent — It remains mortal. When It enters the Realm of Cosmic Consciousness It becomes Immortal. However, this Immortality is temporary and conditional. The duration for staying within Cosmic Consciousness depends on the vibratory frequency of the physical body.

In order for the Higher Self to remain permanently grounded within Cosmic Consciousness Its old genetic body needs to have been completely transformed into a new biological arrangement, which can produce and sustain the same vibratory frequency as is found in the Cosmic Conscious Realm. When that occurs, the Higher Self Being will no longer belong to the physical; It has gone beyond the frequency and reach of matter. The Higher Self has now been transformed into a Cosmic Being! Its domain is now in the Transcendent.

A Soul is Immortal and, therefore, cannot directly leave Its Transcendent domain.  A Soul cannot come down into the mortal world of duality, matter, space and time. It has no physical body.  It can, however, partake of the world of matter indirectly by sharing the experiences of both the lower self and Higher Self while they are in physical bodies. It was for this purpose, that the lower self and the Higher Self were created by the Soul. It is through their experiences in the Realm of Duality that the Soul can advance further on Its own evolutionary journey. They, too, must go through a transformative process in order to achieve full maturity and become autonomous Souls.

Both the lower self and the Higher Self are the Soul's offspring and are never disconnected from the womb of their Mother Soul. Our Soul is always connected and in touch with both. The lower and the Higher Self are a component of that, which is our Beingness. But as long as we remain grounded within the darkness of our lower self consciousness, we are unable to have a personal Awareness of our Soul. It is only after we have woken to our Higher Self Consciousness — that we become Aware of our Soul's Presence.

During our stay within the Abode-of-Souls, we receive the knowledge that all of existence — all of life — is ONE. Like a spider's web of Light, everything is united in ONENESS. We understand now that the world of matter — everything 'outside' of the Transcendent — is only a temporary illusion, a shifting mirage of atomic particles. But in reality, even the world of matter belongs 'inside' the Transcendent and is part of the Unified Light. In fact, all mirages that appear to be happening 'somewhere-else-over-there', in another space and time, have never moved out of that ONENESS. There is nothing outside of that ONENESS. ONENESS contains even the outside!

The immediate after-effect when finding our self back in the old world, after exiting the Realm of Self-Realization, is a state of astonished wonder, awe, and confusion. The big question is — what happened? We feel within all of our Beingness that the experience of Self-Realization was more real, more significant and more fulfilling than the old world of matter! We do not wish to leave this sphere of Bliss and Unconditional Love and Acceptance. We do not want to go back 'down' into the old world. But it is not a choice that is within our power to make. Just as quickly as we are drawn into Self-Realization we find our Self cast out again.

This return to our ancestral Home was meant to be only a temporary stay. One of the reasons for this visit Home was to bring about our conscious birth into Immortality. We have always been Immortal but through this conscious birth we become Aware of our Immortality. The other was to lessen the unrelenting loneliness that almost all of us feel at times. No matter how immersed we are in the world — with the worst and the best it has to offer — we often have a deep-felt longing that we cannot identify or explain.

We have become afraid to be alone with our self and fear that we will encounter this inner emptiness of longing. We try to fill our life with all kinds of activities and material possessions. We think that we can ease this loneliness by having a relationship with 'an other'; someone we love and who will love us. But we discover that even after we have found this someone, and even after we have satiated our self with material wealth, this longing still remains.

We keep moving on relentlessly through this life in order not to fall into an empty moment. Because if we do, our emptiness will tell us that we are running in vain and that we cannot escape the reality of this void. We will be forced to acknowledge that nothing in the external world has ever been able to eliminate this longing, and we feel that nothing ever will.

Few of us dare to explore this void-of-longing. Even fewer come to the realization that no matter how fast and furiously we live our life — this unknown longing will remain. It is only after birth into Self-Realization that this longing finally disappears. It departs as soon as our Beingness has reunited with our Soul. This is the unidentified longing for which we have searched endlessly, from one lifetime to the next.

Coming to terms with the immediate aftermath of Self-Realization is not a 'walk-in-the-park'. It is a long and arduous trek filled with many potholes and by-ways. It is not for the emotionally or intellectually weak or the ego driven. This journey into the uncharted territory of our inner landscape is not for the 'faint-hearted'. Those who continue to go further on this journey of self-discovery need a warrior's heart. And even then, there will be casualties.

Immediately, after Self-Realization, it becomes necessary to spend some time in seclusion. The ground underneath our old reality base has shifted. We are out of focus and out of touch with the lower self world and even with our own lower self. Time is needed to come to terms with the unexpectedness of the Self-Realization experience; and time is needed for digesting all the insights given. This is a critical period for regaining our equilibrium. Some never regain it.

The world of the lower self now appears gray, dull and meaningless in comparison to the Realm of Self-Realization. The knowledge that the lower self world is only an illusion makes 'our world' now appear redundant and worthless. This is a common and mistaken belief, held by many who have experienced Self-Realization. This dangerously mistaken idea can lead to a dislike and rejection of humanity at large with a desire for total withdrawal from society. It is one of several dangers of the Self-Realization aftermath.

Then there are those who, after returning from the state of Self-Realization, fail to achieve a balanced outlook of intelligent thinking and emotional fortitude. They are in grave danger of not only losing all common sense but also the ability to regain their footing on Mother Earth's soil. A few will happily remain floating with their heads in the clouds, flying high in suspended animation and consigning everything which has to do with society to the garbage heap.

Some will believe that they have now arrived at the end of their spiritual journey and will become stuck in that belief and seek no further. Others will believe themselves to be above the rest of humanity, thinking that they are the only ones who have all the right answers. Still others will slip into the throes of fanaticism, believing they are the chosen of god and set out on some delusional crusade in order to save mankind. Once anyone has arrived at any of these states, it is almost impossible for them to return to rational thinking and productive living. If they stay in these states, it will halt all further spiritual progress until the time arrives when their eyes are opened and they realize their folly.

After Self-Realization, we are left in a bewildered and dazed condition for many weeks. We yearn to return and to re-experience the potent and intoxicating 'aliveness' of the Self-Realization state. For weeks or months to come, the enchantment cast by Self-Realization will overshadow the old world, shutting it almost entirely out. It is now of the utmost importance to build a healthy psychological fortress in order to not only survive the old world but also the new.

We have an overwhelming longing to experience this all-consuming communion of Oneness again. It is a lover yearning for the Beloved but to a degree that surpasses any passionate longing that we can experience in this world. We are willing to do anything, to pay any cost — even to give our life — in order to reunite with our Soul again. But, this will never occur again while in the physical body. Self-Realization happens only once! Wanting to re-experience the Self-Realization union is another danger that we must overcome. The siren-call-of Self-Realization can, and very often does, become an addiction.

It will take this lifetime, and perhaps many more, before we acquire enough knowledge and understanding to fully comprehend the Self-Realization experience. Eventually, we will come to understand that Self-Realization is only another beginning and not the be-all and end-all of spiritual striving and progression. Self-Realization is the beginning stage of the annihilation of the lower self 'animal man'. And it is the entry to a Higher state of Consciousness; that which belongs to our Higher Self. This birth is the beginning journey towards achieving permanency within the Higher Consciousness.

The objective now is to stay within the Higher Self Consciousness as often as possible and for as long as possible. We must learn how to free our Self from the lower self consciousness. This is done by rejecting the lower self consciousness and its values at every opportunity. There will be many times when it will take courage to choose the Higher Values over the lower values. We will often face painful repercussions by choosing the High Road over the low road as the Higher Values go against the norms of society. It is through unyielding determination that we will be able to increasingly make the choice to follow the call and the values of the Higher Self. This is what will eventually cause the lower self to shrivel up and drop away.

It takes a great deal of fortitude and discipline to overcome the magnetic pull of Nature's animalistic lower self consciousness. When shifting gears from the horizontal to the vertical plane, it means we are moving away, going against the pull of Nature. We cannot escape our slavery to Nature without encountering a fierce fight.

There is nothing to worry about, if we don't yet want to free our Self! The hunger for freedom is a seed within and when it sprouts we will have little choice in the matter. When this hunger comes then our time is at hand and nothing can deter us. We will then in earnest begin to look for the vertical ladder that will help us break free from Nature.

The lower self consciousness, which is in bondage to Mother Nature, has its existence on the horizontal plane. It is the plane of duality, space and time; it moves from left to right. The Higher Self Consciousness has Its main support on an ascending vertical plane. This plane is timeless and Its movement is from lower to ever higher levels of Transcendent Realms. The Higher Self is capable of moving back and forth between both planes.

The post Self-Realization process will continue for many years; perhaps even lifetimes. Continuing after-effects will bring many altered states of consciousness. We have no choice in the matter. These altered states come unexpectedly and suddenly — transporting us into unknown realms and experiences. This is all part of the Higher Self's maturing process. Our newly gained Higher Self Consciousness must experience and learn what these realms have to communicate to us. It is through these altered states that our Soul is showing us a road map and giving us glimpses of the realities that are yet to come and enticing us with their compelling attraction; all with the intent of encouraging us to continue with our journey.

One of the stages following Self-Realization is the Mystic State. The Mystical Consciousness is an intense, emotionally charged state of Beingness. The Mystic State is like floating in a calm ocean of intense awareness within the core of our Self. This Awareness can lead either to the state of union with Oneness or to a state of personal self-absorption. The early encounters with the Mystic State are overpowering. We lose Awareness of our body and surroundings. It is a state of Blissfulness — a state of intoxication more powerful than any narcotic and no less addictive.

The Mystic Consciousness is all about Unity; Unity with our Self and with the content that one is focused on. Divisions no longer exist. All is seen and felt holistically. The Mystic knows Himself to be a part of that Wholeness. With the Mystic, the Heart dominates. He is no longer comfortable functioning within Mind. It is because the Mind divides but the Heart unites.

When in the Mystic Consciousness, we 'see' behind and 'into' everything. We perceive — by Direct Knowing — others' intentions and 'see' their true Beingness. This 'seeing behind' applies to all forms of life. Everything becomes magnified; color, sound and shapes. Our sensitivity is fine-tuned. All of our emotional and intellectual senses are on full alert. The language of poetry becomes the natural means of expression.

In the Mystic State all is perceived in the full light of clarity. But it is a clarity permeated in softness. Everything is perceived as being a harmony of unified togetherness. Even a pile of manure, seen through the senses of the Mystic Consciousness, is perceived as being harmonious, beautiful and in-tune with its surroundings. There is no personal subjectivity in this State. All is equally harmonious in Oneness — be it a rose or a corpse.

When the Mystic comes 'back down' into the duality of daily life it is jarring and painful to his nervous system. The Mystic's wide open receptivity is repelled by the disorder, the disunity and the roughness of the social order that surrounds him. If the Mystic needs to continue to live within society, he must find a way to filter out all that would tear down his nervous system. He must discover a way to find balance and harmony within disharmony. If the Mystic is unable to find stability within the coarseness and mayhem of the lower self world, he can easily slip into a total rejection of humanity and thereby lose his potential for becoming a guiding light for others.

Some Mystics take the low road into a trance state, into self-absorption with their I-ness. This is a hypnotic and static state that will take them nowhere. Their awareness is totally locked into their own I-ness. This is only pseudo mysticism. The vibrations from this realm have been hijacked and taken control off by their lower self consciousness — the personality and the ego. They have become 'stuck' at the outer fringes of the Mystic Realm and will be kept from fully entering into the Mystic State. They are just using their hypnotic trance to disconnect and escape the reality of this world or to impress their followers in order to gain spiritual status.

They need to be cared for by others while in this trance state. Their body is defenseless and at risk as no one 'is home'. The body needs to be watched over, protected, fed and washed. Once addicted to this state — they become useless to themselves and to others. They have become life denying and want only to stay blissed out. For them there is no coming back to any rational normalcy. This trance state is a regressive state-of-being — a dead-end for further growth. It can only lead to deterioration.

On the occasions that they do return to the reality of the lower self world, they come back empty-handed. They have gained nothing of value for themselves nor have anything of worth to impart to others. They have little or no awareness of the content of their experiences while blissed out in self-absorption in their trance state. Many so called gurus, sadhus and other 'enlightened' ones belong to this category of pseudo mystics.

The authentic state of Mysticism is the one that leads us to union with Transcendent Oneness while still retaining our own Awareness. When lost within the blissful state of the Mystic Consciousness we will, in the beginning, be literally 'blown-away' by the experience. We will lose Awareness of our body and our surroundings. However, unlike the trance-like state of pseudo mysticism, we are completely and intensely Aware of what is happening. This is of tremendous importance because, without the participation of the personal Awareness, all knowledge and experiences would be lost after returning to the world of the lower self consciousness.

The first few times that we enter the Mystic Consciousness, we experience the full force of Its core power. This is why we get 'blown-away'. To get 'swept-away' is a blissful and intoxicating experience. But we should only play with and enjoy this full-blown version for a short time and then move on. We must not become addicted to this blissful escape. It is not a permanent stopping place. It is only one phase to be gotten through on the long journey still ahead. All we have to do, to get past this core of overpowering attraction, is simply to say with all of our conviction — 'We are ready to move on'! We cannot play in the sandbox forever!

We must move past this condensed and overwhelming core; it has no constructive long-term use. We must learn how to disintegrate this core in order to disperse its power. When diluted and absorbed into all the parts of our Being, it will become an integral part of our DNA. The diluted and non-overpowering Mystic Consciousness now becomes a controllable influence. We will now be able to regain balance and continue to function within society, even when the Mystic Consciousness is active.

I will now relate an episode that belongs to the Mystic State. It is a state of Beingness where we don't get blown-away. We remain firmly grounded within the lower-world consciousness and within our immediate surroundings — while at the same time we are functioning within an altered state of consciousness. I call this state of consciousness the State-of-Absolute-Satisfaction! It is also known as the state of High Indifference, the name Franklin Merrell-Wolff, whom I had visited after my Self-Realization, had coined for it.

His book: 'Pathways Through to Space' had made a profound impact on me. I was sitting in deep contemplation and reviewed all that I had read. Suddenly, I awoke to the Awareness that my entire Being was vibrating within a state of Pleasurable Satisfaction! I was immersed in the fullness of a gentle Bliss — a Bliss that was breathing me! I was filled with a profound feeling of how wholly complete and absolutely wonderful everything is! I was in Absolute-Satisfaction. It was a Wholeness containing no parts. It was a complete Fullness that is indivisible and additions are impossible.

All was Perfect — an existence without imperfections. All events, all objects seen, were Perfection within the Totality-of-Life. Wars, famine, natural calamities, the beauty of a flower, a newborn life, illness or health and riches or poverty — all was utter Perfection! Nothing could be added to or subtracted from this utter Satisfaction of the Totality of our Beingness. Even if we realized that our death was at hand — that, too, was all right. It, too, was a part of That Totality. There was no need to do or to change anything. No sense of attachment to anything is felt — not even to our Self!

This State-of-Absolute-Satisfaction expressed an objective, total acceptance of the moment; regardless of what that moment might bring! If the airplane, on which I happened to be at the time this episode occurred, would have crashed, I knew, I would have remained in a state of Utter Indifference. This condition of Absolute-Satisfaction generated a deep celled, joyous acceptance of What IS. The now familiar, invisible shield between my outer surroundings and myself accompanied this state. This shield always surrounds me when I am in the state of Cosmic Consciousness.

Self-Realization unlocks the door to the Transcendent. We are now allowed entry into the Realms and 'rooms' of the Transcendent. We might now find our self, quite unexpectedly, catapulted into one of these realms of altered realities. It usually happens when we are in a relaxed mood and when the mind is stilled. This often occurs when we are occupied in doing the most mundane tasks of daily life. We might or might not lose awareness of the physical body and our surroundings. At times, we might remain within both realities simultaneously. If that happens, the old world of matter is dimmed and relegated into the backdrop, just along the periphery of our Awareness while the altered reality takes center stage.

It is quite a shock when we suddenly become Aware that we are in an altered state. These altered states are powerful, mesmerizing and all embracing. However, the astonishment of finding our self in an altered state swiftly recedes. Soon we find our self totally captured and engrossed in what is taking place within the altered reality. We have been forcefully 'taken' but we don't want to escape!

If this ' being taken' occurs while we are out in public, the survival mechanism in our lower consciousness will eventually give a warning. This warning comes in the form of making us feel uneasy. We are beginning to wonder if the other people around us might have become alerted to 'the out of the ordinary fixed position of our body' and are watching us. During altered states our body remains suspended in the same physical position we were in at the time we were 'taken'. It will remain so until we 'return'. This uneasiness gradually grows strong enough so that our lower self consciousness attains the power to pull itself away from the altered reality.

This uneasiness will bring us back to the reality of our earthly surroundings — for one or two seconds only. The force of the altered reality is still present during this moment of a-quick-glance. However, I never once noticed that anyone was watching me. Within the blink of an eye, once this uneasiness had been alleviated, the power of the altered reality had already drawn me back into itself. I was once 'swept away' while in the process of folding a bed sheet at the Laundromat. After my 'return' to the world of the Laundromat, I found myself still in the same bodily position and in the exact same stage and process of folding that sheet!

While we are within an altered state, we are living and experiencing the totality of that consciousness in a state of Fullness. Everything else that we have ever known has been wiped out of existence. The Reality of the altered state is the only Reality. It is Full of Substance. While within this state we feel that we are living a complete lifetime; a lifetime without time! The lower self consciousness remains and takes in everything that is occurring. However, it remains as a watcher only; there is no subjectivity involved. To my lower self consciousness it always felt that I had been within these altered realms for quite some time. Since I never had any indication that I had been observed by anyone during my stay in an altered reality, it leads me to believe that stays within altered realities apparently last only a split second or two of earth time.

I will give an example of finding myself suddenly transported into a 'room' packed with astonishing revelations — a 'space' that is completely filled with only one subject matter. I call these spaces 'rooms' because it feels that we have suddenly stepped through an opening and into a closed 'room'. These 'rooms' are very unlike the Boundless-Vastness that we often experience in the Mystic Consciousness. These 'rooms' hold and contain their subject. All the various subjects in these 'rooms' appear to be the Divine 'laws'. Each 'law' is contained, monitored and kept safe in its own individual 'room'. I have no idea why there would be a need to monitor and watch over these 'laws'; however, I have a real sense of this being a fact.

I once found myself transported to a 'room' filled with geometric formulae. The entire room was afloat with undulating mathematical compositions. Each formula represented an experience, an event and an action. Each formula was in potent colors and each color corresponded to a numerical quantity. The numerical quantity and its related color were also symbolized by an associated geometrical shape. Each formula had its own defined space; yet, all formulae were in harmony with each other and in some unrestricted way bound together.

These formulae were a composition of three components; a negative force, a positive force and an activating force. When the activating force is triggered, then the preset outcome of the formula is produced. For each potential action, there already exists a predetermined outcome; and this outcome is another formula. It would be difficult to comprehend how many events would have to come together before the activating force is triggered.

As I watched in enthralled amazement, some of the formulae would move closer to me. They would then rapidly speed through my Awareness and then, just as quickly as they had arrived, they would be gone. As they sped through my Awareness, each formula conveyed volumes of information about the action that it was programmed to produce. The knowledge communicated came with a powerful thrust of energy and was all encompassing.

I tried to hold on longer to some of the insights I received. I wanted to go deeper into my understanding of what was being conveyed to me. I wanted to seize the knowledge that I was receiving in order to reflect on it further. But all the formulae sped by too fast. Words cannot describe the Intellectual Satisfaction that I felt when receiving this knowledge. I had a hunger of wanting more and more of this food, which tasted like ambrosia. I believe that I had been in the 'room' of 'Cause and Effect'. Here is an example of entering an altered state, while I still retained Awareness of my physical body and my surroundings. I was sitting in my living room and listening to music on the radio. I was extremely relaxed, totally focused and lost within the pleasure of listening to the music. Suddenly, my open eyes were drawn towards the radio. There, in delighted amazement, I saw the shapes of musical notes floating out of the radio. All these musical notes were of a different color. I was astounded by the realization that I was not only hearing the music but also seeing it! As the notes floated out and away from the radio, they gently vibrated to the beat of the music. After floating some distance away from the radio, they faded out of sight. After contemplating this astonishing event, I surmised that each musical note not only has a corresponding shape but also a corresponding color.

It is necessary to touch briefly on the world of Cosmic Consciousness as it is also a direct result of Self-Realization. We can only enter the stage of Self-Realization through a fully risen Kundalini and we can only evolve to Cosmic Consciousness after having first passed through Self-Realization. Self-Realization is the turning point that frees us from the mortal, horizontal life and sets us on course for the vertical, Immortal Life.

Attaining to Immortal Life is the whole purpose of mankind's spiritual journey. It is a journey with an unseen roadmap, a journey fraught with dangers and many setbacks. We will need to pass through many valleys, filled with dark shadows and hidden forces. We will have to climb laboriously, up and over many mountain peaks; some in sunshine and some beset with thunderous rains and clouds — before we will eventually arrive at our destination.

This destination is our transformation into a new state of Beingness — that of a Cosmic Being. The world of Cosmic Beings lies in the Transcendent. Cosmic Beings are no longer a member of the human race. They are new Beings who have evolved from fully matured Homo sapiens. Cosmic Beings are ruled by Love and Compassion — as the center, the root of Cosmic Consciousness, is a Heart-of-Wisdom!
